Getting Started
We’re excited to meet you and your pup! To get things rolling, new clients just need to:
1). Set up a profile for yourself and your dog through our scheduling system.
2). Take a moment to read and sign our client agreement and liability form.
3). Send us your dog’s current vaccination records.
4). Book a daycare evaluation so we can get to know your pup better.
Health & Wellness
Your dog’s health (and the health of every dog in our care) is super important to us. All dogs must be free of parasites, fleas, ticks, and any contagious illnesses. If we notice anything concerning while your dog is with us, we’ll separate them from the group for their safety and give you a quick call to discuss next steps. As soon as your pup is feeling better and no longer a health risk, they’re more than welcome to come back and play!
Vaccinations
To keep all our furry guests happy and healthy, we follow the New York City Department of Health (NYCDOH) and recommendations from the American Veterinary Medical Association. Before using our services, please provide vet records showing your pup is up to date on:
-
Rabies
-
DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus)
-
Bordetella (kennel cough – required annually)
Spay & Neuter Policy
Dogs need to be spayed or neutered to attend daycare or boarding. If your pup is under six months and not yet fixed, no worries—they’re still welcome to schedule an evaluation and enjoy grooming services!
Daycare Evaluation
Before joining our daycare or boarding services, all new dogs must go through a short evaluation to ensure they’re comfortable in a group setting and enjoy being around other dogs.
If your pup does well during the first hour, we’ll invite them to stay for a Half-Day (under 5 hours) or Full-Day (over 5 hours)—charged at our standard daycare rate.
We’re looking for dogs who:

Are spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated

Interact well with other dogs and handlers

Show no signs of aggression or excessive anxiety

Can enjoy a full day in a social setting without stress
Some behaviors that may not be a good fit for daycare include:excessive barking, obsessive mounting, aggression or nipping, isolation from the group, and any contagious health conditions.
Our priority is to maintain a safe and happy environment for everyone. For this reason, we may decline services if a dog isn’t the right match for our setting or if their behavior poses safety concerns.
Please note: Evaluations must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability.
